My flames are not as blue, but I got a couple of shots of the gas ring on my Glenwood No. 8.

Super cool. That really shows off how they work to burn off gas and convert CO to C02. Thank you so much for the effort in getting those together. I'm sure that everyone will appreciate these great pictures.

It is just like having 14 small blowtorches burning the gases over the coal. I am going to try and get a short video of the gases burning and post it.

I haven't seen much info about the model 8 base burner, would you mind explaining what the differences are between the 6 and the 8 ?

Size - the 8 is bigger than the 6.

It looks exactly like the No. 6 except everything is a little bit bigger and has an 18" fire pot. The No. 6 has a 16 inch fire pot.
