Thank you! Not many being left is why I went ahead and made the decision to put a deposit on it in January. Doug set he had one he needed to restore so I put my name on it.coalnewbie wrote:Not many left but you nailed one - congrats.
I probably can wait until next season... and this is why: The hearth project was put on hold because I quit my full time job and went into business for myself so all of my funds went into the business for now. I need to wait a few more months to build up the capital I need to buy the stone and such so the stove will sit in my sun room , covered and protected until I get the hearth done. Sure wish I had someone in the stone business to hook me up lol.Dennis wrote:

Thanks William! You started this whole thing with the Base Heaters. once I read what you had to say in my first thread on this forum I was sold on the BH . I sure did battle with decisions on which model to get for some time but in the end The glenwood 6 had it all and not to mention Videos about it and tons of info that you gave. I also battled with the idea of whether or not to spend the money on a heatpump/ central air but in the end this is a really wise investment. Any idea on where on can print or buy literature on the stove? any old ads or fancy signs? I love history as I know you do to and I would like some little things here and there to have around if you know of anything.wsherrick wrote:Excellent young Nephew!! Got my stove in today! I am super stoked about it . A bit sad though because there is no more anticipation . I am impressed with the qaulity from Barnstable.
Doug is searching 4 a cast iron 90 now for the back. He said they are very hard to come by now.
