Thank you! Not many being left is why I went ahead and made the decision to put a deposit on it in January. Doug set he had one he needed to restore so I put my name on it.

I probably can wait until next season... and this is why: The hearth project was put on hold because I quit my full time job and went into business for myself so all of my funds went into the business for now. I need to wait a few more months to build up the capital I need to buy the stone and such so the stove will sit in my sun room , covered and protected until I get the hearth done. Sure wish I had someone in the stone business to hook me up lol.

Thanks William! You started this whole thing with the Base Heaters. once I read what you had to say in my first thread on this forum I was sold on the BH . I sure did battle with decisions on which model to get for some time but in the end The glenwood 6 had it all and not to mention Videos about it and tons of info that you gave. I also battled with the idea of whether or not to spend the money on a heatpump/ central air but in the end this is a really wise investment. Any idea on where on can print or buy literature on the stove? any old ads or fancy signs? I love history as I know you do to and I would like some little things here and there to have around if you know of anything.

You are right Fred! Although when I can set it up will be the key!

Got my stove in today! I am super stoked about it . A bit sad though because there is no more anticipation ;) . I am impressed with the qaulity from Barnstable.

Doug is searching 4 a cast iron 90 now for the back. He said they are very hard to come by now.

Glad to see you finally got her. You will enjoy burning coal in that beauty. Make sure when she is set up we get to see some pics. Good luck with the new stove.

Better verify the size too. Could be 5, 6, or 7.
