Well I just loaded the pearl cannon heater in the truck and I'm bringing it to my friends blacksmith shop tomorrow . The crazy thing is he only wants to burn wood in it and for being a blacksmith he doesn't have a coal addiction . Anyways it was originally his stove so I figured he could use it again. It's doing me no good anyways. I'm gla it's going to a old home and will be used.

He doesn't know what he's missing when it comes to heating with coal.

This stove is actually want brought me to nepa and coal. Doing a little research I foud out it was a coal stove and then I found nepa which turned into a beautiful relationship ;)

Here is a few old post about it!

Armstrong Stove & MFG Co.
And my first thread New to the Coal World and Need a Little Direction

I guess you can say I owe a lot to this old stove that I only used once in my house !

Say bye bye now !

funny how things always come full circle in the end... Its a neat story of how this lil' beauty brought you here to this community and got you to try coal

Has your blacksmith friend ever burned coal before? I think when you return this stove to him you should bring some of your coal (clean nice bags ready to rock ;) ) Tell him it was some leftovers or whatever.
I don't think Ive ever found a wood burner who has tried coal in a good coal burner who would then revert back because they think wood is better. the only time it happens is when they have access to "free" wood (cant argue with that to much  ) , or if they somehow moved and where left with a wood stove in the new home.

Get him rolling with some of your left over coal and then when he runs out it and switches to wood, he will be depressed! Mahahaha
