Jewitt Oak Coal Heater
can anybody give me information on jewitt oak coal stove. is it a good heater? what are they worth, it has a nickel foot rest it about 41/2feet high thanks

I,m sorry I missed this post. Could we see some photos of the stove? If the stove is in good shape and can be restored I'm sure it will be a good stove. How good I don't know. I can't advise on something I haven't seen. The worth of an old stove is very subjective. It is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. A lot of people on ebay and Craigslist have their unrestored stoves way over priced. They see what a totally restored one is selling for and think they can sell theirs for the same amount or close to it. Oak stoves are very common and were sold in every price catagory. Some of them are extremely high in quality and some not so much.
