The Glenwood No. 8 baseheater is a very serious stove...its heat output and efficiency will far exceed your current stove. I haven't run one personally, but they appear to be a very user-friendly stove.

The No 8 is a big stove. It has an 18 inch fire pot and can probably hold almost 100 pounds of coal. The No 6 like mine has a 16 inch fire pot and it heats my entire house easily. Call, Emery at Antique Stove Hospital. He just posted this morning that he has just bought several Base Heaters to restore. I'm sure he has one to fit your needs.
You can't get a better coal stove than a true Base Heater.

Oh I didn't realise he was talking about THAT #8. Yep sheesh a #8 baseheater is the biggest Glenwood they made and will make way more heat than a Mark II. They were used in Big Victorian homes or large open general stores and the like.
