Anyone ever used one of these for bits or know if parts are available?

Yeah, thats one reason why i was wanting some more “experienced” info. Maybe worth replacing and making an ash pan

I'm afraid that thing has seen it's last fire a long time ago. If you really wanted to it would be possible to fabricate a new grate from hot rolled steel. The only real reason most stoves have cast iron grates is it's easy to cast a complicated shape that works. However it's probably not worth all that unless you are a fabricator and can do the work yourself. The florence hot blast parlour stoves work well for bituminous, I'm not sure I've seen a cabinet model.

Thank you very much, i doubt it has any parts available. Was sitting in a barn for atleast 50 years
