I bought a Warm Morning 617A today. Long story short: The seller "helped" me break the ash door handle clean off of the stove. Where could I find a replacement?

I know there's one out there. I meant to take photos of the new (to me) stove but it was too dark by the time we got it up on the truck.

Can anyone tell me what this is for? It's on the side of a Warm Morning Model 422 heater.

Well....nobody seemed to have a handle or know where to get one...so I improvised! JB Weld really IS handy stuff!! I got started on the disassembly and painting before I remembered to take good "before" photos. Here is what I have: Warm Morning 617A

Well...she's in! Haven't burned any coal yet but am burning a wood fire tonight to cure the paint job. House is SMOKY!! I hate that "new paint" smell! Attached are some photos. I moved the Jotul 118 out by myself and brought the Warm Morning in with a dolly. The Jotul 8 in the bed of the truck is one of my next projects....

Looks good, if that JB stuff fails braze it with the white flux coated brazing rod from TSC or your favorite store. I have fixed a lot of castings with that stuff it's about as strong as cast iron at room temperature. It does take a oxyfuel torch a plumbers torch is not gonna do it.
