Hand Fed Coal Stove: researching now

Post by jsplott » Sun. Dec. 23, 2018 10:20 pm

Imagine my surprise when a logger asked me to help him find a good coal stove cause he is getting tired of fooling with wood...he and his dad are liking the hitzer 55 I asked him to research. Does the hitzer 55 burn bit coal well? I know what the ads say but I wanted to ask here for real world info. I plan on calling hitzer after the holidays but since ive gotten good help here in the past I thought I would ask yall first. Thanks

There are a few other guys on here burning bit in a Hitzer 55. From what I remember they work pretty well with it.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully one or two of them will see this thread and give their opinions whether good or bad.
