I've been using the IP Webcam program for quite awhile but do not understand the port forwarding, being

able to access the camera from other than your own Wi Fi. Can anyone help? I am able to get pictures and

save them.

I use this to monitor my secondary burn in my boiler that burns Bit coal with low smoke and very blue

flame and long burn times. The picture below show the progress from fill to shakedown.

yOur webcam is part of your wireless network?

And now you want to access it from outside the network?

Yes to both .

With the IP Webcam program you can use your old cell phone as a web camera. So I use it

plugged in as a way to view my boiler from my living room. It is now on the network with

its own address and the program let you zoom, adjust quality, set brightness, and take pictures

with the camera.

It is a great way to recycle your old phones and have a way to observe something from your

computer and current cell phone or any other device that can access your Wi Fi.

I want to be able to put this camera on the internet so I can access it when I'm not at home

from anywhere I have Wi Fi or my cellular network.

Hope you can help.
