Called Cobra Mining Monday to see if they had some nut coal (soft coal).
They said the seam was only 2" now and their hoping to hit a thicker seam.
They have run of mine.
I started with soft coal and need to find another supply with equal quality.
Cobra is just under 2 hrs. away and I hate to have to travel further.
Here is a map, I believe Cobra Mining is in the Georges Creek Field in Md.

I don't know why they don't sell to home owners from the other mine, I think it's Big Vein.
They sell 1000 ton a day from it.

They may still have pea and ROM.
It doesn't look good for nut this year.
That's why I'm looking else ware, like Somerset-Friedens area. Or just get hard coal $$$
They never had a lot of nut because the vein isn't very thick. I think it's called Little Inch Vein. I could be wrong.

Called UAE in Mt Carmel and Superior, $170 ton for hard coal.
Flemming Trucking $215 delivered, 1+ ton, Huntingdon, Franklin counties and more between where he lives an where he gets his coal.
