Controlling Heat on Hot Blast Heater

Hi guys, Wanted to know if you can control heat output on florence blast as with base heater.Will it hold a fire ok on warmer days,being in nc thats something I've got to have.

What stove should I look for florence,globe etc want one if ant coal gets hard to get down here.

They are easily controllable. Grumpy, on the Forum here has a nice 153 for sale that he restored. I'm sure he would be happy to talk to you about it.
