yep its cold dad burn cold , here in middle tn and I know up north you all got your hands full also.
I am heating with a vogalzang pot belly stove straight from china courtesy of northern tool haha .During the day I burn oak mixed with ky white ash lump bit. and at night before bed I put in about half a scuttle of pa hard coal nut sized. the hard coal holds fire great all night but it seems to form alot of klinkers but thats ok. but my favorite still has to be tn or ky bit man alive it will make the heat. :D well yall stay safe keep an eye on your fires.

Hi, Here is a link to a post that we have been recently discussing. Vogelzang Potbelly Maybe you can shed some light on the subject. How do you shake the ashes with this stove? What is your take on it? Thanks for any help. :idea: :)
