Where my girlfriend works. at a accounting office. They just bought 1,080 gallons of oil. at 2.29 a gallon. ($2,473.20) Like 149 million BTUs. I told her 6.2 tons of coal bulk at 180 ton is $1,116 bucks. Savings of $1,357.20!!! But they are white collar yuppies. They would rather turn a knob and thats it. And pay the price for it.

$2.45 gal for heating oil

$15.62 for coal
$25.24 for oil

About 60% cost of heating difference
