My Alaska 140 has a speed contro; on the furnace blower. I have been running it at almost the lowest speed. How about you guys, do you run yours blowers full speed?half speed? or Low speed?
Advantages or disadvantanges?

Depends on how your stove is setup. My Hyfire has variable speed controlled by the Coaltrol. It runs all over the place depending on the heating requirements. Most of the time it runs on slow/med, I can always feel the heat coming out. When really cold, it cranks and you can hear it a little bit.
