Well yesterday I relocated the limit switch on my Alaska 140. After 2-3 trips to Home Depot, because I changed my mind on the way I was going to do it, I got it done.
Know the fan does not short cycle and it quieter in the house not having it run all the time.
Will post a pic or two this afternoon.Tom

Why relocate it? Did it not have have "on at off at" settings?
Is it possible they substituted and short shaft one for a long shaft one and not deep enough into chamber?

I moved it because it was short cycling. When I called Alaska and spoke with the tech rep he recommended the move and gave a specific location in the plenum.
