Air Return Question

Want to run a keystoker kokers fresh air return directly to an existing air return, connect the round pipe off the blower to a small square return (about a 8 ft run) but am concerned it may be loud. Here's what I mean...

The existing return is a square duck that is 5"X 10" and connects to a register on the first floor just above the koker where I sit and watch TV. Do you think the 1560CFM fan will cause a loud rush into that register or under the floor when it is running?

Not sure how much a 1560cfm fan will suck thorugh the register.

Also, anybiody know how loud the koker 1560 cfm blower is?

Thanks

I think, the fan motor, right at the fan, will be much louder than the air entering the register. Try it.

I doubt it will have the RUSH of air, but maybe just fan noise, You may have to put an insulated (rubber) joint in the duct work to eliminate the hum or buzz created. That is what happens to my cold air return pipe, it has a loud hum when the blowers are on FULL.
