LPS 3 HD Rust Inhibitor

Who uses the LPS 3 rust inhibitor?
Be sure to degrease your unit prior to first burn. I didn't think it woud smoke too much. I was wrong.

First coal fire tonight to test out stove. Very damp & off/on rain out & 60F. Drafting is good.

There is a relativly thick waxy layer of protection from LPS 3...That's what makes it such a good rust preventer. BUT: I'm sure it will smoke and stink some with the first burn of the season..

I use it. Great stuff. I don't clean it off. Just burn it off. I'm only using it inside the boiler, not on the outside.
