Any pictures of what a landing for a 20-ton dump trailer would look like?

I was thinking a concrete pad with concrete block walls on three sides, graveled driveway, maybe a roof?

Thanks in advance.

Someone just did this last year, maybe 2. Use the search function. Maybe someone can post a link if they find it.

Visit youtube to find videos of bulk coal deliveries.

One fellow with a youtube video bought enough pea coal for 10 years of burning or so he thought, and they delivered it in a walking floor tractor trailer and by the time they were done a 30 by 30 blue tarp on the ground was not enough to hold it all together.

Will your road and driveway handle an 80,000 pound loading with 44,000+ pounds being the coal load?

Unless you have room and road width for a 5-6 axle tractor trailer or a 4 axle dump truck to back into your property to allow it to drive in and turn around to back up and dump your going to be in a bind.

Do you have the room to store 22+ cubic yards 44,000+ pounds of coal??

You also have to have enough height with no high voltage wire nearby to allow the dump box to raise and empty unless they use a walking floor trailer.

In the case of a dump truck or dump trailer if the dump box cannot elevate to its full height the truck or tractor trailer will have drive forward until the dump box is empty.

In short you need a lot of room and solid DRY ground.
