Lovely day and got my 23 ton of Lehigh rice into the shed. Now that is a great feeling. Don't trust those buggers in NYS who are aiming to make HO extinct. Looking to get a load of stove as finances allow. My zero tolerance is to manage without HO, sunlight or wind.

Lehigh $185 a ton for 23 tons and $30 trucking per ton. My machine secret is a Case 1845C which is probably the crappiest moving machine in the country but it works. I gotta treat myself to new tires

many buildings 15-20 tons a year. So imagine how much HO. Anthracite is the only game in town. Of course, without Shelley who knows where we go from here

Well OK Fred as it is you I will give you my secret. This may be patentable. I park it right in front of the gravity wagon I bought on this board. There are steps there so I climb up and hop in

What is the deal with HO going extinct? I must have missed that in the news. Or are you saying you don't, in general, trust our fine blue state elected officials to ever use any bit of common sense?

And a plus 1 on Fred's comment.

Sorry I should have posted a reference. Bailey and others plan to make hydrocarbons in NY extinct and that means heating oil will be taxed at up to $2 a gallon (of course phased in). That means say $5 a gall for HO plus inflation. I have no NG.

https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2021/S3336

As I said zero tolerance on my part for HO, solar and wind. You can add geothermal (it does not work around here) ask Sullivan Technical College. Add heat pumps (maintenance nightmare).

I am not waiting around my policy is UTMAIA. There now you smart guys break that code

So it's a carbon tax that will be added to already taxed products containing carbon that is burned for fuel, heat etc. Just another way of adding tax dollars without increasing the current tax percentage. I think the D after their names stand for dipstick.
