My step daughter has a zone that won't circulate. I think I've isolated the problem down to an old zone valve motor. When the thermostat calls for heat, the zone valve motor makes an odd buzzing noise. The one right beside it is quiet. From what I understand, the motor can be replaced without the need to replace the whole zone valve. The problem I'm having is that I can't seem to find a replacement match per the numbers on the zone valve cover 40004850-001. The ones I've seen have different numbers but look very similar. Pics below of what it looks like. Any guidance is much appreciated

They have revised those parts a few times, so the part number has probably been superseded. Give the folks at supplyhouse a call and see if they can cross reference the number for you. If all else fails just buy a whole new head.

Is there a part number starting with a V on the top or bottom of the frame / shroud?
Like V8043E?

Rob, I set up a chat with supplyhouse and they advised the power head you listed but they didn't ask which series zone valve I have.
... after further investigation I've learned that the older style require a conversion kit to accept the newer style power head. So I still need to see which one I'm dealing with.. I didn't think to look for identification on the underside illustrated in the diagram so I'll need to do that next time I go over there.
