Once the largest coal power plant in North America..

Four flues in one stack....

I hope they found a a herd of unicorns to harvest their farts to replace that plant....

They replaced a lot of the output by reactivating 2 reactors at a nuclear power site.

Yes, but that is a drop in the bucket compared to the output of the previous plant. Most of the slack was picked up by nuclear.

If they can produce electric at less than 2 cents a KWHr they are welcome to

bid in the power auctions.

Here are some of the costs of different methods of electrical production.

Why would any responsible lender loan to a company that could have a lot of

stranded assets and no way to pay its debt?

The power portion of my electric bill is less than 2 cents per KWHr so at prices

any higher they have to lose money.
