Needed a 45 for the basement stove. All they had were the swivel type. Man those things are scary. I can see that blowing apart pretty easy. I gotta find something else. Haste got the best of me there.

I got it hooked up last night and was just going to burn wood to test it out but I couldn’t resist trying out the bit. I got carried away and put the flame out. When it came back it blew tons of smoke out that 45. Needless to say I won’t be leaving it unattended until I can find a better one.

Black RTV is good to 500° F. Or if it's not in a finished space, copper RTV is good to 700° F.
