Good morning ladies and gentlemen. First i would like to thank everyone who helped me last winter w the inns and outs of my Warm Morning stove. Thank you all. Now my question is,i have switched to stove instead of chestnut. I get better burn time, heat everything, any idea how big of a coal bin i wld need outside to hold two ton at a time? Guesstimates.and design ideas welcome. My father just had boards w snow fence poles as backing. I have no idea on dimensions,is a floor necessary, just have it dumped and tarp it? Im lookin at two tons of anthracite stove coal. Could use any help. Thank you

I read somewhere where the measurement for a cord of wood...4’W x 8’L x 4’H ...which is 128 cubic ft ... will hold 3 ton of coal.

Don’t ask me where I read that, but it was on this forum somewhere. Maybe someone will verify that.
