Monday I have 5.5 tons of rice coming. Tomorrow I will stage the basement bins so I will be ready for delivery. Then Monday morning I will put the chute in place.
Always nice to get heat for the winter taken care of!!

- Hand Fed Coal Furnace: Harman SF3500 reduced down to 3 grates connected to its own plenum
- Coal Size/Type: Rice, Chestnut and whatever will fit through the door on the Harman
- Other Heating: Noth'in but COAL! Well, Maybe a little tiny bit of wood
YAY! It's always nice to get a coal delivery. Especially when you can get it in Summer and have it all there, ready to burn for Winter.

Picked 7200 lbs of rice last Thursday. All stacked and covered nice feeling isn't it. Retiring Oct 2nd. I am sure we will be burning to keep this old retired guy warm.
