Hi folks. I'm new here and it's my first post)
Ive got 6 tons of rice to relocate to the basement with no easy access to the basement windows for the delivery truck…. I went with the 4" X 11’ Westfield utility auger. Cost was $330 + tax.
The motor is a 1HP 120VAC 1725 RPM;. Motor was shipped to the house . The motor pulley is 2” auger pulley is 10”. The auger came with an 8” pulley and drive belt. I’m using an A33 drive belt with the pulleys above and that gives me adjustment range for tension if needed without buildout of motor platform height. I have some work to do for auger support/portability. I feel I’ll be very pleased with this auger……

I’m considering buying a auger as well for moving bulk thru my basement Windows.
