Does anyone still make these? I have seen conflicting information. I've heard they haven't been made in 40 years, although I frequently see ones driving around that look much newer to me.

I'm sure you could get a lift made but the larger ones are built to last..... This had a 7 ton box but a lot of people have put boxes 8+tons boxes on same lift. Made in the 50's or 60's, pictures are from about 2010. It was made by Marion, same company that built those huge drag lines.

My FIL's coal guy has one built in 2014 and I've seen another "modern" driving around this year, so I'd say yes, you can still order a new one.

Thanks for the replies. If anyone has any contact info for someone who still makes them, I would be very appreciative. Thanks

You might try Tamaqua Truck & Trailer. I think they are on Rt 309. About 11 years ago I was out that way and there were 2 highlifts parked out front for sale. I don't have a ph# for them.

+1 on Tamaqua Truck and Trailer. FIL had 4 tons delivered last week and the 2014 high lift had Tamaqua Truck and Trailer mud flaps on it...
