That will happen sometime this Winter, I need to build a door from the foyer to the basement too while I’m at it. It’s sort of nice the way it is because the snow no longer lays on the porch to be cleaned off but that is slot of BTUs wasted too.

I just got to read this entire post. What a great job! Looks nice. I am glad that the union members were not to hard to please. If they were railroads it might be a different story, but then they would not be able to strike. Now you can enjoy loading the coal barrel from the warm house after a long day.
