Michaelanthony, I had no idea it was an option for me to avoid a baro, and I do want to get a manometer, but have no idea how to install or regulate things with it. (It's something I'm researching currently) and yes, please point me in a more appropriate direction to talk about that if that's best, but, I'd still appreciate anybody's input on install and advice on heat shield walls for plaster and lath construction
I pointed the "no baro" out because your stove will only exhaust to the chimney what is controlled by your bi-metal thermometer. You have a very good, arguably the best box stove made today. You can always add a baro later if needed, but I doubt you will. Freetown Fred rides shot gun for Hizter, and there are many more in wait, you are in good hands.
You should learn how to search for old topics. In the top right of every page is a search box. type in manometer install, and you should get what you need. Personally I like "Sunnyboy" aka Paul, manometer install, it is definitive and sensible. There are many, choose what you like.
The wall needs a shield with a minimum 1 inch air space between it and the same space at the bottom of the shield. You can get little ceramic insulators at Tractor Supply, they are in the electric fence area and appropriate screws. Use the search box top right and search stove clearance.

If you ever burn wood, it's best to install it with the crimp down. Creosote and condensation will bleed down the outside of the pipe if you mount it crimp up.

I would use metal duct tape on the joints myself.

I did not put a baro on our 50-93, it runs fine without it.
