Don’t use anything like the quantity of coal you lads use , but this is my coal bunker , made out of pre fab concrete and wooden tops to drop the coal in . Holds 2 tonnes.

Hi Again , Just to say smokless ovoids or anthracite is £330 a tonne , I use 2 tonne £660 ( $823) which isn’t cheap compared to the prices you lads are paying on the other side of the pond ha ha . Still nothing beats the heat of a antique stove or 3 .

Beautifully crafted concrete and woodwork. Reminds me of when architects of the past, actually used styling in their work, rather than the cheap prefab crap of today. Thanks for sharing.

Waste Management Bagsters.
On plastic skids with metal poles and stretch wrap to support them because they will bow out.
This is three tons of nut.

Impressive design overall!!
Will your coal deliveries come with coal being wet?
I ask because OSB is not damp friendly.

Good point M--Put some oil based paint on exposed OSB--HEAVY coats---it'll help!

I did think about the osb getting wet but I had it laying around so it was free. A full bin will not last all winter for me so if it does not look good when I empty it I can replace it with something else. All tho I built my shed 4 years ago from osb and it's still doing fine. No paint or anything protecting it just sun faded

If you have any tyvek laying around put it over the OSB. It will help protect from the moisture and make the slope more slippery for the coal to move down the incline.

I painted 2 coats of home depot glossy floor paint on my OSB. Has held up well.

This is cool! Does the coal flow out the chute?
