Help With Ducting in a Oil Furance Hot Air System Please

Hi all,

I have a home that is two stories not including the basement. When it gets really cold I use coal. During the shoulder months it's the oil. This year for some reason the heated air is really coming out strong on only the side of the house under the oil furnace.

Any clues as to why this is happening. It's going up to the second flow with a lot of force. I closed the one bedroom vent but it still gets hot. The heat coming out of the one bathroom is really blowing and it makes the vent untouchable due to heat.

Is there a camera I can rent to look down into the vents?

I just found out now the heat turned it self off and the house is at 59*F

If you are using oil right now, you need a repairman out there quick.

As far as the vents, make sure they are open on the other side of the house and be sure there is nothing on top of them like a dresser, couch, chair, etc.

There may be a damper in the ductwork that has been moved causing one side to not get heat. I would follow the duct from the furnace to where it splits and see if there is one.

I am assuming you have the two systems are linked into single ductwork and again I am assuming the LL stove distribution air output is shut off for some reason. So are the stove distrib. fan/s disconnected as they would be inadequate to circulate for central air. ? Do you have a high temp combustion air shut off feature somewhere? Again, I assume not. Pics would help us. I do not like these type of combined systems and have kept mine separate. So if the distribution fans are disconnected is the stove still UL approved? So the Poke from the factory had two 265cfm distrib. fans but the 110K Anthraking (AK110) has one 1800cfm fan and that is linked to a high temp cut off that shuts the combustion air/coal feed down. There is a fault in the system design if there is no belt and braces failure system. Is there a coal trol in the system?
