Basement Stove Then Floor Register or Floor Grill
Guys your input .I have a Hitzer 3095 in first floor of my ranch one story .Heating about 900 sq. feet an does a great job .But in this arstic frontthe floors are like 65 degrees .My thoughtPutting another stove in a dedicated 26 by 15 room in the basement would warm the floors .Also note the edges of the first floor would benefit with the basement install .Right now the blasted basement is 46 degrees .# of the basement walls are insulated .I just found out of the cold floors playing with my dog .Obviously would love an E F M boiler but at age 70 not exactually considering it .Three walls insulated .We have a heat pump but 18 years old an lousy. My thoughts are second stove use for Jan. An Feb. or full heating season .Thanks for any input .

Den, I'm not sure about the dedicated room but a decent stove down there would really help. Yes, with floor vents. What stove are you thinkin about?
