Yes sir, I have a hot water coil in my furnace with a small circulation pump that runs 24/7 about 80 feet away. I used half inch pex line and ran them thru PVC pipe then wrapped it with closed cell pipe foam. Works great! Keeps the tub 93-97 degrees with no additional electric heat. During the cold spell it went to 101 since I was pushing the furnace harder lol even though its outside. When I want to use it I just turn on the heater element to get it to 102. I was just in it Tuesday night.
I just spliced into a jet line for the loop. Saves huge on the electric bill.
It never falls under 93 even if I don't use it for a couple weeks.

Not trying to make fun of any one,but my simple mind has never been able to grasp the concept of sitting in a tub of hot water out in the weather, whether its cold,Cold or COLD .Am I missing out on some major thrills in life by not freezing my unclothed skin, then warming it in hot tub ,then refreezing it to get back into the house ?? A customer of mine has a hot tub & he has not been able to get my simple mind to grasp the concept either,he even invited me over,NO way,if I want to sit in a tub of hot water ,I can do it in my warm home.Remember,I am not mocking any one ,just would like a good explanation of what is to be accomplished by the hot tub experience.??

Lots of things are fun with enough alcohol! many have hot tubs enclosed in a spa structure outside. I've been thinking of a coal heated hot tub myself. I'm just worried about the power going out for an extended time. Would have to drain the tub lickety split if that happened.

I always take a mask and snorkel into the hot tub,....in a situation like that! I say I'm practicing my SCUBA skills.

I had one, but it was inside. It was just a wall away from my coal boiler but the wife didnt want me to hook it in. Afraid of being a lobster I guess! Thinking about another one down here, winter just ain't the same so it might be outside.

If I had bit coal I probably could use it to heat my water, but I have to use wood for it since the firebox is underwater. No easy way to burn anthracite in it as far as I can figure out.

Drinks, guests, Tub...
Fun then sleep some...
Rinse and repeat...
Yes an outdoor hot tub is the best...
5 below the water is fine...
Watching the snowcat lights dance on the mountainside...
drink in hand and snow bunnies warming in the water...
Therapy for a day of sking...
The only downside is feet sticking to the deck...
Solved the problem with a small bucket to pour on feet if they...
