Yikes! I have a Intermatic model C8865 timer that makes my Axeman Anderson boiler run one minute each hour to keep it going. Each time I empty the ashes I glance at the timer to make sure it's not just about to come on. Well, today it struck me that the last several days it's happened to be at the exact same time each day. Happened to? Nooooooo, my timer has died. The good news is that rather than drop $100 or so on a new one, I see they sell "the guts" for $32. New guts will be here in a few days.

That's so funny! It reminds me of the first year we lived in Bayonne, NJ. Our car developed a coolant leak but we didn't know it until the spring. I don't know how long we were driving an air cooled car. :D Take care, Lisa
