KAA-2 - Spare Parts??
This morning I was thinking that I would like to have some replacement parts on the shelf for my KAA-2 boiler. I was thinking of a combustion motor at least. Any other suggestions?
Also any source/brand for the parts? Maybe Grainer's?
Thanks!

I have a spare stoker motor and spare combustion fan. Bought both from a source other than Harman. I got the stoker motor off of ebay and the combustion fan through Amazon who had the cheapest price.

I will pick up a fan and stoker motor this summer . The original combustion fan on my wood boiler was still going strong when I sold it this summer and it was 23 years old .

Best just to google the actual motor or fan. I bought my Fasco B75 through amazon for $66.00. Harman dealer wanted $160.00.
The combustion motor is a Fasco 70217607. The fasco site does not even seem to list it. I emailed Keystoker and the cost from them is $114 and the gear motor is $102.
I was wondering if anyone out there has bought these items from somewhere other than Keystoker?

i don't think thats too bad, that stupid little fan motor sounds expensive but really to have on hand most of the parts that will fail for under 300 bucks I think your ahead. I plan on doing the same thing with my ka-6. I don't know of anything else that could really go wrong due to natural failure. I think I had a small hiccup with my aquastat, I think I priced that out at around 125? timer switch? maybe after 10+ yrs, I was hoping more guys would chime in and point out some other common failures.

For what it's worth, Keystoker used a Fasco model 50748-D500 combustion motor on my Koker. There are two versions available from Amazon. Why don't you take another look at your motor for a number similar to this.
I also have a 70212588 number on my motor but I don't get anywhere cross referencing that number.

Good luck,
