The Manometer "sounds like a device from the 'Man Show' " is being send north to Bob via hand delivered carrier! Bob has agree to pickup inbetween on New years day as both parties have off.
Thanks for the trial run. I think I gonna what one of my own, as opposed to burning blind!

Got the Manometer NY's eve - hand delivered no less! It worked out well as I was in the area - Thanks Jim.
I've been playing around with the Baro. damper with the stove running about med. high, 10 degrees out, some wind, and the damper maxed out - the weight as far as she'll go. I took a pic of the manometer reading which seems to be about .03 if I have it figured out right. I guess the damper is off a little as it is set at .02 right now (max). If I manually hold the damper wide open It holds real close to .02 or the red arrow. If I manually close the damper It reads beyond the green arrow or about 2mm.
I'll have to wait till this weekend to see what it does when the weather warms up.

You Definitely need one of these babies, it's like having a speedometer on a car! Without it,it's too easy to get a speeding ticket. Thanks again Matthaus! Dallas has set me up with one at a very reasonable cost , oh BTW a check is in the mail!

I think the name scares lots of folks off, sounds kinda scientific and complicated. Don't worry everyone it's easy and fun.
Thanks for the testimonial Jim, I had the same revelation after I bought one and realized I had been speeding! Even worse, there were some situations where I was going to slow (Power vent on a rheostat) and endangering my family!
C'mon folks, the man-o-meter is not so scary!

Ugh...manometer good....
If it means I get to buy another gadget...I'm in. Just ordered a Fluke 561 IR thermometer so I can sit in my la-z-boy and measure my stove temps....my wife will be so pleased!

I'm glad that the manometer is making it around to those with interest. Matt, if you get a backlog of people waiting for the manometer, I can add another to the loaner program.
