ok, so I've read through hours of threads about dampers, but have yet to find the answer to my main question... I want to install an auto baro, but my problem is, where my furnace sits vs. the thimble, I have a 90 right off the back going into 30" of straight which is at an approx. angle of 45 to another 90 which is connected to the chimney...I have no perfectly flat horizontal or vertical section to install a T for the baro..can it be installed in the angled section as long as I make sure the pivots of the baro are level horizontally? my only other option is run a 90 out of furnace into a horizontal straight to another 90 vertical straight, and a 3rd 90 into the chimney, which I really don't think is a good idea for mainly draft and buildup reasons..

Doesn't make it right...but that's how mine has been running for two years. Works good for me.

thanks Rob, that's exactly what I was lookin for and actually my flue pipe is at a bit more of an angle which would be better yet.

Oh yes, I had to put mine on a 45 degree angle too, seems to work just fine
