Looking for the coal mice, not available locally. Any chain stores or online sites you know of that carry these fire starters?
Thanks!

Any good type Matchlite Charcoal works too. I smash 3-4 brickettes it into smaller pieces, put a little paper under it, add some coal on top, light it, get it started, and plug the stove in..... :)

An old road flare works for me I just cut them into 2-3" long pieces. Light the bare sawn end and drop into a shallow groove in the coal.. Turn on the fan...

We keep all our paper towel/toilet paper cardboard tubes and fill them with the "lent" from the laundry dryer's filter. Light these things along with some small dry sticks and step back!!
