If I change the convection fan that I have hooked to my Coal-Trol will it relearn or do I need to reset it some how? Does the same go for a duct work reconfig?

As far as I know, it shouldn't affect it, it doesn't care what's hooked up to the coaltrol.

Is just the standard fan on the stove or your larger furnace blower? Still should not matter.

There is no feedback from the fan, it just sends a signal to run faster or slower (on/off) depending on the temp requirements.
The only feedback is the Thermostat settings, based on the set temperature vs. room temp, it will vary the outputs (stoker, blowers, etc..)

Just change it with a suitable substitute. It is true there is no feedback to the Coal-trol. It merely monitors heat required to preset parameters, if you find heat suffers you may need to change the CFT settings otherwise you should be fine.

The fan is directly connected to the CFM output on the coal trol. It's a low amp duct fan. I'm planing to upgrade to a centrifugal fan probably in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks
