I just captured one. They are hiding out somewhere in this place and one will show up here every so often, crash landing on my desk. This is the third one in the past few weeks.

Yup, had one in my house two weeks ago. Around the time I put the DS in. It became part of the fuel in the DS that day. He didn't last long on hot coals.

I hear them dive bombing my window blinds like a camokizy pilot. They are only trying to stay warm. I put them in the stoker so they can feel the heat.

I wonder if Billy Joel can develop a Allentown reprisal song about stink bugs

I'm finding a couple a day. A guy I know whois in pest control says they are going to get alot worse before they get better. No predators. The Dept. of Ag. is working on a "fix."

I still have to pick them off the inside walls and lamps. They come in on the firewood, when they thaw out, they start flying around.

All summer/fall they were bad here and I'm still finding one or two here and there. I get ladybugs bad too although not as bad this year as last.

It appears they are everywhere now....

EMMITSBURG, Md. – An insect with a voracious appetite, no domestic natural predators and a taste for everything from apples to lima beans has caused millions of dollars in crop damage and may just be getting started.

The brown marmorated stink bug, a three-quarter-inch invader native to Asia, is believed to have been brought first to the Allentown, Pa., area in 1998. The bug began appearing in mid-Atlantic orchards in 2003-04 and exploded in number last year.

This spring, stink bugs have been seen in 33 states, including every one east of the Mississippi River and as far west as California, Oregon and Washington....

They are especially bad the last couple of days here in central Maryland. I've vacuumed several dozen in the house each day. Hundreds outside on any warm surface like brick or concrete block. I use a shop vac outside and then smash them when I empty it. I've noticed night time slugs eat the dead stink bug pieces. This coming week will be in the low eighties, the stink bug problem will likely be much, much worse.

It's comforting to know that the EPA is working on the problem. The only fix approved by the govt so far is to smile at them and even then you must follow directions carefully. Failure to follow directions will be an automatic 10 year sentence. These things are incredibly hardly and I would bet serious money the EPA will ban anything effective.

I had so many stink bugs last year that people were actually video taping my house when they drove by. I came home form work once and 5-6 ppl were standing at the end of my driveway. I sealed the house best I could and made one of those little stink bug traps for the garage. Works great with Dawn by the way. I decided enough was enough and researched and found the product Talstar Professional which is used by the pest guys. I bought a gallon on amazon and sprayed everything bolted down. I had the kids stay with family for 2 weeks and even did the inside of the house near the ceilings. I drove to our cabin and did that. Even did the sheds and neighbors house just so they wouldn't move from my house to his. Needsless to say I have barely seen any this year... stuff works what can I say. Now if these bees near the back porch would leave me alone I would be a happy camper. Just some things I have come across. Fall is coming... get the leaves away from your place. They hide in them. Last year I made a pile 6 feet high for the kids to jump in. Didn't heed the advice from someone else and let's just say that experience will forever be drilled in our heads. It was horrifying.
