Still burning coal in northwest NJ! Looks like I might have to buy more coal again....Oh I forgot that global warming is heating everything up...This is April isn't it? In the 1980's the environmentalist wackos were predicting global cooling...maybe they were right!
Obviously I have been working too hard lately.

Still burning here in Central Maryland. I'll be getting a pickup load of coal this weekend. Since October 28, 2006 I've burned 5.25 tons for heat and domestic hot water.
I shut my boiler down 2 weeks ago during the warm spell. I thought the cold was done. Now, I have been running the wheels off my little Harman Mark II that I have in my basement. So much so that I have cracked and/or just flat broke 4 firebricks in it in the last 2 weeks !!!

I'd like to pick up loose coal this summer for next year, bagged is much more expensive. I'll most likely have to buy 10 more bags this week.WNY wrote:had to buy 15 more bags yesterday....still chilly here in WNY! We had Snow last night! Geesh.

Suprisingly the forum has stayed quite active through april. It's almost comical, I can look at the server stats and almost tell you how cold out it was that day.

OK, now server hits will need to be compared to heating degree-days...Richard S. wrote:Suprisingly the forum has stayed quite active through april. It's almost comical, I can look at the server stats and almost tell you how cold out it was that day.
