Just got done reading a bunch of threads and think I know what I need but I wanted to check with you experts first.

Installing indoor masonry chimney that will be about 28' high. Chappee 130KBtu hand fed initially unless an AA130 becomes mine before I fire the Chappee. Is an 8" round flue fine? Would a 6" be any advantage/disadvantage?

Many thanks ahead of time for your inputs!
Bob

I would go 8", you can always reduce it down to 6" or whatever you need.

6" is too small, especially with a 28' chimney, 8" is what you want.

Thanks, that's what I'm after. I appreciate the help guys. I didn't want to put up something that wasn't going to work well.
