Maybe this will help someone. I was initially having trouble with a shortened burn time especially on windy days until I installed a barometric damper. It took care of the uneven draft that would go through my stove, and shorten my burn time. I now get a solid 12 hour burn with my stack temp running around 175 on warmer days and up to 250 on real cold days.
