There is no creosote in coal, so it can't cause a chimney fire.

I don't have experience with that particular one. I don't know.

Most of us use the
Field Controls model RC automatic draft

This is the one to lower and regulate the high draft.

Extremely dangerous in the event of a chimney fire. Will make a chimney fire worse.
Isayre, is it posible to close the damper(block) when i going to do the wood burning after the cold winter?

Yes! For wood burning, simply cover the barometric damper with aluminum foil. That's what I do with the damper on my stove.

Hello good evening( its night in belgium)

Is it posible to put the autodamper on the lower or bottom part of the chimney?

look at my photo for my idea,, or is it bad to mound the damper on that place.

The lowest point will be an ash trap, and that will likely disturb the proper functioning of the barometric damper.

Ok, mm thats not good,

where is the best place to mount the damper on my chimney?
Is it possible about 1 meter (40 inch??) above the stove?

See photo, (its my older stove but same chimney)
I sold it unfortunately, it was a nice stove
