I can certainly see why a lot of people have cancelled their orders, especially if they ordered a stove or boiler in July or August. I have to agree that Keystoker was in no way ready for the flood of orders that they received. My dealer is not to happy with the company. Everytime he contacts them, which is at least 2-3 times a week, he says that he gets the runaround. He said that it seems that they don't even care anymore. This is very dissapointing and no way to run a business.

As far as canceling my order, I haven't. I'm to far along in my project to cancel now. I've already installed my pex al pex and pre-fab chimney. I've purchased my piping, fittings, expansion tank w/ air scoop, baro damper, manometer, ball valves, and a taco circulator pump. Since it will be a garage install, I placed 24 guage sheet metal on 2 walls w/ a 1" air space. I have 2,500#'s of Kimmels rice coal ready to go. Total price so far is about $6,700 (including the K6). My plumber has already been here and tapped into my oil boiler piping for a series hook-up. I'm ready! Hopefully i'll get it soon! It's been 7 months and 1 day since my order. Every time I hear my oil boiler fire-up, which is quite often in this part of the country, I get a little .

Well, at least oil is cheaper now, so it could be worse. Oil is on the rise again, hopefully you will be good to go when
the increases hit the retail price. I am not going to re-order with keystoker, I will go with another manufacturer when
the time comes. Good Luck!

When I picked up my boiler at Keystoker in May 2008, I left with the impression that they were not interested in the internet much. So I think it's best to use the phone or even write a letter to contact them.

Damn Luddites. There does seem to be a number of the them within the stove manufacturing business. It amazes me how dysfunctional many of their sites are.

Don't even get me started on the Engrish some of them employ in their user manuals. I joke that it's "Engrish" with sadness knowing that the stoves are made right here in the USA and would expect them to do just a little better in finding the right words and the proper places for commas and other punctuation.

I have had my koker on order since July. My uderstanding is that they have parts now and many units will be shipped over the coming weeks and I can only hope mine is one of them. I was told 18-22 weeks and it has been about 23 now....you guys might want to hang in there!

Well, put yourself in their shoes. They can not keep up with sales NOW, why push the internet? Well, we all know the
reason they cannot keep up is the internet, not so much the dealers.
Grammar and spelling, a lost art? No, just ignored by many. Cream rises to the top. Let's hope they are better welders
than writers.

You should see my keystoker manual, it's a photocopy of a photocopy with hand drawings in it of the wiring, etc...

They are old time German craftsman, not Internet folks. I believe the companies been around 50 or more years!

One section of mine is typed with a typewriter.

You should see the factory!... Having said that they make an outstanding product for the cost.

I have NO complaints about my Keystoker 90K DV. It's been running for over 4 seasons (6 months at a time 24/7) without any problems, except the usually spring maintenance/cleaning.

It's like stepping back in time. Fortunately it was a time when things were well made and craftsmen took pride in their work. Their products are very well made. It's worth waiting for and worth overlooking the poor website and owners manual. Would you rather have a crappy product with a slick website and owners manual? Nah. I've got a Harman boiler and while their website is alittle more modern, the owners manual is barely above crayon quality.

I think all of those that cancled should call jerry at leisure line. I bought my hyfire II in aug 08 from a new dealed in CNY. the communication between jerry and the dealer was great in my opinion.

Oh, I hope it wasn't interpreted that I thought quality suffers with bad grammar.

In any case, I'm happy with the Channing III picked up from another member here after canceling the KA6. It's a great stove though I would have loved to have bought the Harman Mag Stoker coalkirk posted for sale not long ago.

And the Alaska manual isn't too bad except for the glaring lack of details and dark pictures. I love how they say to clean out fines but don't bother telling you how to do it - thank goodness for this forum which does an excellent job of filling in the missing gaps.
