We've recently received a couple of questions about the convection fan starting and stopping unexpectedly. When in automatic fan mode the convection fan may initially start and then stop a couple of times before it locks on. A similar cycle can also happen when it is turning off. This transition may occur for a minute or so. No harm to the equipment will occur.

We're currently investigating this phenomenon. In the meantime, if you encounter this cycling frequently and it is annoying you, we suggest changing your CFT setting to a value just below the feedrate your stove typically idles.
