I am hoping that someone can clarify the differences between the two stoves? Is the Liberty a similar stove? Does it have the auto-heat system like the Channing III? I have an opportunity to purchase a Liberty and was looking for info on this stove but the Alaska stove website provide very little information. I called Alaska and got a very short answer - "they are the same". Any feedback from Liberty owners would be greatly appreciated.

Looking to heat around 2200 sqft in Central Mass and new to coal.

I believe they have the same components but are of different styles.

They are the same, except for the sheet metal.
