My friend is getting a Harman DVC-500 and I've been telling him how much I like the Coaltrol that I installed with my Alaska. He was lucky to find the Hrmon so he went with it. I was wondering how well the temperature probe on the Harman works? Does it keep the room at set temperature or is there wide flucuations? Any advice for him and how to use the 3 dial settings or other tips would be helpful?

My second year with my dvc. Temperature probe works fine. Using the room temp. mode it keeps my house within 2 degrees of set temperature. Very happy with dvc, would highly recommend this stove. Burned 4 ton last year, saved
lots of money and was warm.
