My Channing III is finally in my possesion and I'm picking up the rest of my coal tomorrow. I have a couple of questions for those who know. The stove is a rear Alaska vent and there are two little fans that are exposed and look a little odd to me. One of them is dirrected twords the bottom of the paddle feed this one is a little out of the way the orther one is on the rear of the motor for the vent thats mounted dirrectly to the back of the stove. This one looks a little odd to me. It looks as though there is something missing around the fan. It may be the way its supposed to be but it just looks odd.

That sounds about right,, can you post a photo of the back of your stove so the other Alaska Channing owners can compare to their stoves?

I'd love to see a video of the cat stickking it's paw or tail into the buzz-saw fan blades.. ever see a cat run/fly at 500 mph ???
For the cat/animal lovers, the plastic fan blades are harmless to fingers etc..
