Welcome Bill, I am the proud owner of an RSFD 07. It works great for my needs. I am looking forward to learning more on the Reading Stove Line. Would like to upgrade down the road to the Susquehanna.

Welcome Bill! :D

Thanks for putting in the time to support your products, You are in good company, the other reps are good folks.

When you get a chance I would be interested in hearing your take on separate combustion fans Vs the single stoker/combustion fan motor ala Tri-burner. Also what are your plans to sell the Reading line with a Coal-Trol option?

Matthaus, READING STOVE is now offering a thermostat control option for all our stoker stoves. It’s simple to install. Any Tri-Burner Stoker can be fitted with the control. The only hard part is running the wire from the Honeywell control to the solid state timer. Thermostat's can be purchased through a dealer or direct.

Hello Bill, welcome to the forum

How about offering a retrofit kit to add a full time combustion fan to the Triburner? So it isn't so dependant on draft to burn the idling coal fire and therfore so it burns the coal more completely??

Keystoker offers a similar kit for their older stokers..

Many, many members retrofit a full time combustion blower to their 'TriBurner' stokers in old Alaska stokers..all with excellent results and much less partially burnt coal in the ash.

This is what Matthaus was askiing about in addition to his Coal Trol question.

Looks like the flood gates are open for Reading Stove questions. Good to see. I hope Bill has time to answer and tend the store. Welcome Bill
